I recently purchased this reel off EBay for $45. The spool would not engage when I got it. Cost $8 to repair. For $53, I can't imagine having a smoother, lighter, round reel. I've been impressed with the casting range and also the way it fits my palm. At 8.3 oz., you can throw it all day. When I'm not Bass fishing, I'll take it catfishing and inshore fishing with equally good performance. This is as nice as the Curado which I also have. If you buy this reel, you won't be disappointed!
